This was a stunning project. To be really honest, both Mr Gotlieb and I were dead set against staining an Oak floor. Mr Gotlieb was very grumpy and I  tried hard to dissuade Jeanette from doing so. Fortunately Jeanette is a lady that knows what she wants. We stained the floor with one coat of "Teak" stain then sealed it with 3 coats of Satin Acid Catalyst floor sealer. The results were outstanding, the stain highlighting the wood grain.
